You did it through 5 kinds of grants: Grocery, Garden, Gear, Advocacy, and COVID-19 Emergency! Each one helped feed the hungry in a unique way.
You helped the most vulnerable Canadians. Your gifts supported many programs that mainly serve specific groups facing barriers to food security and accessing food aid programs, including:
Seniors: 25 partners
Children and youth: 69 partners
Homeless or marginally housed people: 44 partners
Indigenous people: 20 partners
Refugees: 7 partners
LGBTQ+ people: 3 partners
Together, we raised over $1M... with a median gift of just $54. That's the power of the Jewish community coming together!
Of each $1 donated, $0.89 was spent on our mission to end hunger and feed the hungry.
