WE ARE HIRING

Updated: Jun 9, 2021

Through the support of the Canada Summer Jobs program, we are hiring!

About us:

MAZON Canada is the Jewish response to hunger. We are a grassroots community foundation that feeds both Jewish and non-Jewish Canadians in need on behalf of our community. We support food projects across the country - including food banks, school nutrition programs, hot meals at shelters, community gardens and more.

Our small, dynamic staff (3-6 people) is committed to making the workplace we wish to see in the world: communicative, colourful, effective, enjoyable, mutually supportive, and nourished by expressing and respecting our needs and boundaries.

When we grow, our organization grows!

  • Because of federal restrictions on the Canada Summer Jobs program, these opportunities are available only to candidates aged 16-30. These are entry-level jobs intended for early-career applicants.

  • Social skills, fast learning, creativity, critical thinking, passion for the cause, and a positive, supportive attitude will be prioritized above specific software experience, etc.

  • We will prioritize qualified applicants from demographics most affected by food insecurity and who face barriers in the job market: Black, Indigenous, trans, disabled, immigrant, etc.

To learn more about the details of each role, our work culture, our ideal applicants, and how to apply, please explore the full job postings:

After reading the job posting carefully, please apply by sending a resume and a unique, relevant cover letter through indeed or directly to our Executive Director, Izzy Waxman (she/her) at izzyewaxman@gmail.com.

I noticed your comment on the hiring post really tapped into the excitement and nerves that come with applying for a new opportunity, especially when you’re trying to stand out from a big pool of applicants. I once stayed up late polishing my resume and realized how much smoother my academic reflections read after using journal article editing service USA to tighten language and clarify ideas, which made all the difference in telling my story well.

Observing Mazon's hiring initiative prompted me to consider the significance of expert guidance when embarking on new endeavors. In a similar vein, I depended on academic editors and a Professional law project editor to enhance my work. Their expertise guaranteed clarity, precision, and a refined final submission, much like how guidance influences early career achievements.

I enjoyed your hiring post from MAZON Canada and how you explained the mission and the supportive team culture that makes even entry-level roles feel meaningful in the fight against hunger. It took me back to a busy term when I was juggling essays and job applications, and I even needed i need someone to take my exam help one week so I could stay focused before applying to opportunities like this, which really taught me about balancing stress and goals. Your update made me think about how finding the right fit can shape your career path in unexpected and fulfilling ways.

I really enjoyed your hiring post and how you laid out the roles you’re looking to fill, especially the way you explained what makes your team culture welcoming and growth-focused. It reminded me of a time I was buried in coursework and job searches, and during that busy stretch I even used wireless sensor networks assignment help to get past a tough module so I could focus on applications without stress. Your update made me think about how exciting it is to grow into new career opportunities.

In schedule reviews, project milestones often help identify whether critical path activities are delayed. This aids corrective action. The College of Contract Management integrates this into analysis training.
