Liat brings to the table her experiences volunteering weekly at an East Toronto food bank, chairing the social justice committee of her synagogue, and crafting communications for a small international environmental NGO. Liat works as a freelance editor and earned her doctorate in international relations from the University of Oxford. She is a proud mom of two teens and enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, exploring new places, and making soup.
