Laurel Rothman

Treasurer

Laurel Rothman brings more than 40 years of experience as a professional, volunteer and advocate in the community services field. She has worked in the voluntary sector, municipal and provincial governments, and the union movement. Since retiring as National Coordinator of Campaign 2000: End Child Poverty in Canada in 2015, she has remained active on issues of child care, child poverty and hunger. In 2013, she was honoured to be named the inaugural recipient of the Canadian Mothercraft Society’s Bill Bosworth Memorial Award recognizing leadership, innovation and unwavering commitment to children and families.
