Amy Steele
President / Chair
Amy Steele is a social worker in Toronto who has been supporting individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities to achieve their goals for 15 years. She has a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Psychology and International Development.
She has worked locally, internationally, and on reserves in Northern Ontario. Amy enjoys contributing to all of the communities of which is she is a part: She has held several leadership positions in her union, at her synagogue, sits on the board of her condo complex, and volunteers within her neighborhood. She was also named a ‘Woman of Impact’ by OPSEU (Ontario Public Service Employees Union) in 2018.
