And Other Pressing Questions with Kulvir Singh Gill of the Seva Food Bank!
In 2021, Mazon focused on interfaith and intercultural partnerships through our Gear Grants (which fund equipment or infrastructure) - including $10,000 for the Seva Food Bank, an initiative of Sikhs Serving Canada, that serves 900 families each month with healthy hampers in the Mississauga area. They used the money towards new fridge/freezer units to receive more rescued food!
To discuss the impact of this grant, our Executive Director, Izzy Waxman, sat down with Kulvir Singh Gill, Co-Founder and Board Chair of the Seva Food Bank.
