DAYENU PROGRAM - WHAT'S INCLUDED?

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

With a Seder dedication through the DAYENU Program, you'll receive resources, readings and activities on hunger and justice.
Feel free to use these sparingly or centrally, and weave them into your Passover traditions at whatever point in your personal Seder feels right to you: at the start, at the end, when we spill drops of wine, or whenever you prefer.
SEDER KIT:
This package contains everything you need to bring hunger awareness and empathy to your Seder table:
-
'Seder Dedication' - this reading lets your guests know about the gift made in their honour and dedicates your Seder to those whose cupboards are bare.
-
'Before the Meal' - An empathy-building reflection exercise to be read immediately before the meal, inspiring gratitude for the ability to eat a delicious meal together and nuanced compassion for those who go without.
-
"The Four Children of Food Insecurity"
-
"Four Canadian Rabbis on Hunger"
-
A Canadian hunger factsheet
-
And more!

DAYENU Donors can also send up to 36 eCards or 18 physical cards FOR FREE to friends and loved ones.

You can use these cards as invitations for your guests, or as a way to send seasonal wishes to friends and loved ones you won’t be seeing in person around the Seder table. Both types of card can be personalized and sent to your recipients at the time of your choosing.
If you’re a hand-writer, we’re also happy to mail a pack of up to 18 physical cards for you to personalize and distribute yourself!
