ARGUMENTATIVE WRITERS
​
Strong volunteer argumentative writers needed to write drafts of compelling, engaging donor communications, narrative reports and gift proposals.
SOCIAL MEDIA POD
​
The fastest, simplest volunteering ever: Help us reach a wider social media audience by receiving a weekly email reminding you to 'like' MAZON's social media posts to boost them in the algorithm - and of course, share anything that inspires you! More info and sign-up here.
ALLOCATIONS COMMITTEE
​
Reviewers need for grant applications and help make decisions about which organizations get financial resources. We are looking for committee members with experience in food security, anti-poverty work, non-profit work, financial literacy, nutrition expertise and/or lived experience or food insecurity.
ADVOCACY COMMITTEE
​
Are you experienced and knowledgeable about anti-poverty work? We're looking for activists, organizers, policy-makers, researchers, and educators to develop Mazon's long-term hunger-fighting strategy and organize its actions.
THANK-YOU CALLERS

We like to reach out and thank the people who have supported MAZON's work and let them know the impact their donation has had on the community. If you are a friendly, outgoing person and a great phone shmoozer then this volunteer opportunity could be for you!
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
​
We often need support with administrative tasks. These may include short phone calls, writing greeting cards, entering data, or formatting/labeling documents. These small tasks can be done remotely, don't need much training, and have a BIG impact on our work!
FUNDRAISERS
​
Of course, we're always looking for people who love nothing more than fundraising for a worthy cause - through events, grant-writing, or other methods. You're the beating heart of the charity world!
